The media has been flooded with the idea that Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the governor of Imo State is working very hard to impose his son-in-law on the people of Imo State. Mr Jones Onwuasoanya disagrees completely with this and has rather compared the UCHE NWOSU Project to the biblical selection of Young David whose anointing was not determined by his father, Jesse.
Read what he wrote below.
When God sent Prophet Samuel to anoint one of the sons of Jesse as the next king of Israel, Prophet Samuel, went looking for the most handsome, best built and oldest of the sons of Jesse, but God didn't find any of those sons worthy to take the crown from the head of Saul. Even Jesse, the father of David, never imagined that it could be David, of all his sons that God would find favour in his eyes, to make king over the people of Israel.
For Pa Jesse, it didn't make sense that God could ignore all his older sons, and chose David, the youngest of all of them to be king. To Samuel, the older boys of Jesse seemed better experienced, therefore better suited for the job of a king. David should serve his time in the bush, tending to the family livestock. For God, David is the best King to rule over Israel at that time in history. How right, as always, God was!
Among the sons of Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Uche Nwosu is not the first. Eze Madumere is among the first, Anyim Nyerere is also up there as among the oldest of Rochas' sons. Among the later day sons of Owelle Rochas, Sir Jude Ejiogu, Chuks Ololo, Chima Anozie, and even George Eche have obviously seen more of the world than Uche Nwosu, but as much as they are qualified, God has a different plan for Imo. Owelle Rochas Okorocha is not really the one driving this project, but God Almighty is. If anything, the governor is simply playing the role of Prophet Samuel. Like that son of Hannah, Owelle looked the way of Prince Eze Madumere, Jude Ejiogu and several others, but God insisted it has to be Uche Nwosu. Like David, Uche Nwosu was busy taking care of the assignments for the betterment of the land, when he was summoned to take up this very important assignment.
When David was anointed, he faced a Coalition of opposition. From King Saul, then, the Philistines and many others. Everything was done to stop him from ascending the throne, but God who anointed him, cleared all the obstacles and eventually made him king. Like David, Uche Nwosu is going to overcome all these troubles and coalitions and take over as the governor of Imo State on 29th May, 2019.
